Something new is brewing for the 2012 Kerouac 5k! 

The Jack Kerouac Scholarship Foundation is proud to present
the 10TH ANNUAL Jack Kerouac 5K Road Race!

Jack Kerouac was and still remains a central figure in the history of Lowell Massachusetts. Born and raised here, his work exemplifies the gentle grit and tone of our city. We honor his contributions to twentieth-century literature and culture by dedicating this race to his memory and to the spirit in which he lived his life.

Time: Race-day registration opens at 10:00AM. Race starts at 12:00 Noon sharp.

Entry Fee: $25 pre entry (on-line registration closes sept. 28th) $30 race day. Entry fee is non-refundable.

Collectible Jack Kerouac Micro-tec race shirt to first 400 entrants.

Age Groups: Top five male and female overall and top five in the following categories: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.
Benefit: Race proceeds go to the Jack Kerouac Scholarship awarded annually to a Lowell High School graduating senior planning a major in literature or the arts.
Fun! Post-race party at The Brewery Exchange includes food, refreshments, adult beverages, and giveaways, plus Music throughout the afternoon.
